In the Tower Defense mini-game, mice must get the cheese, passing through many towers to do so. However, unlike a normal map, the shaman's job is to place "towers" to impede the progress of the mice in acquiring said cheese. However, if you die, you will re-spawn shortly after.

Shaman's Role

When a mouse is shaman, they may move the camera around the map similar to if they had died. From their they can place and rotate arrows to shoot different projectiles. You may change the type of projectile by selecting different nails (you can also find this information by pressing the F1 / Tab in the mini-game).

  • C / F2 - Cannon tower (5 points) (Note: Due to how physics works in the game, cannon balls may not be shot upwards.)
  • V / F3 - Ball tower (2 points)
  • B / F4 - Bomb tower (3 points)
  • N / F5 - Spirit tower (5 points)

Once you select a tower type, ever arrow (tower) you place after that will be of that type until you change it again. You start of with 10 points and slowly regenerate over time.

All towers "activate" after a set amount of time all at once. They also reuse their ammo, so if there is a cannon ball rolling around, it will be teleported back to the original tower and shot once again.

Please remember this is supposed to be fun, so while you should make the map challenging, you shouldn't make it impossible.


The objective of a mouse is rather straight-forward, if not easy: get to the cheese (it is not necessary to get it back to the hole). You must first get past towers to get the cheese, and then somehow make it back. Should you die in the process, you will re-spawn shortly after in the next "wave". Every mouse in that same wave will have their name printed in that colour above their heads.
