A shaman is the one who guides the mice. On some levels there are two shamans, one blue and one pink. In this case, the player's colour is chosen at random. A shaman's default color marking is light turquoise. This can be changed if a mouse has unlocked Hard mode by having saved 1,000 mice. Mice who have unlocked Divine mode by saving 5,000 mice in regular mode and 2,000 mice in hard mode may also have permanent cosmetic wings, which are not to be confused with those from the "Angel" skill.
Melibellule said that it's canon that shamans feathers aren't sticked in their hair, that they're attached to a twine. [1] Note: A twine around the shaman's neck is actually seen in-game.
Controls
General mouse controls can be found at Controls; more information on anchors can be found at Nails.
Key | Action | Notes |
---|---|---|
B | Global Anchor (Red Anchor) |
The Global Anchor can only be used in the center of little and big Planks and attaches directly to the world. The anchored plank can rotate, but otherwise will not move. |
C | Object Anchor (Yellow Anchor) |
The Object Anchor, unlike the Global Anchor, has to be attached to another object on the map. The anchored object can not rotate, but its movement can be slightly affected. |
V | Hinge Anchor (Blue/Green Anchor) |
The Hinge Anchor must be attached to another object and allows the object to swivel/rotate around the anchored point. |
N |
Motor Anchor (Blue/Green Anchor) |
This Motor Anchor is similar to the Hinge Anchor, except it rotates in a clockwise direction. |
J | Motor Anchor (Blue/Green Anchor) |
This Motor Anchor is similar to the Hinge Anchor, except it rotates in a counter-clockwise direction. |
Space | Ghost Object | |
Z, ⇧ Shift, X, Ctrl, Mouse Wheel | Rotates Object | |
Keys 1-9 | Selects an Object |
Spirit jumping
Spirit jumping is a special combination of using "spirit" and jumping. While this is often done by a shaman (as they have full use of spirit), mice can do it as well with the aid of a shaman.
Techniques
Shaman techniques can vary from creative solutions to a problem, to brute force methods. There are also some Hard mode techniques that are generally used by "pro" / hard mode shamans.
Summoning objects
The shaman has many things they can summon, although they cannot always use all of these on every map. Shamans can also summon special objects / get special power ups by using Skills.
Skill Trees
In transformice, Shamans always have different sorts of special powers. These powers are seperated in three categories: Spiritual Guide, Wind Master & Mechanic. In order to get your powers, you need to level up. By saving mice as a shaman and completing maps, you will successfully gain experience points, which will help you to gradually level up.
