Mouse
Run! Or If there are vast quantities of mice, it is possible to push the block off the map to the left. It is also quite common for the block to roll over the mice, sliding harmlessly down to the right. in other cases mice have been reported to all go up to the ice block and keep jumping so the ice block slides over them like a roof. At other times, inactive mice will act as a ramp for the ice block and the other active mice can take cover underneath.
In the rare case that everyone runs and the block continues to gain momentum, it is best to run as fast you can to the side of the map, and wall jump the right edge until the block slides harmlessly over, and then jump back and grab the cheese.
In Nightmode, the level doesn't really warm up on difficulty, but in this case you will barely see the big sliding block. If mice will ignore it in nightmode and just go for cheese, the ice block will surprise and push them into a endless pit.
Shaman
A quick drag to the left or two, an anvil directly between the ground and ice block, a quick red anchored plank, or simply pushing with the pack of mice will work.
