The shaman starts off with the cheese and the other mice need to chase the shaman and touch him to get the cheese.


At the start, you might want to try to walljump on the plank to get to the shaman, though he may shake you down. It depends on the shaman-thief - if they are nice, mice are sure to finish the map quickly.


The golden name text on a selected mouse is listed as the Shaman-thief for the map. Keep in mind, though, that maps such as this one, where the thief steals the cheese, will not reset your points and you are very likely to be a normal shaman soon after. The shaman-thief starts atop a wobbly plank. Jumping down allows the mice to get their cheese. Or, staying up top allows wall-jumpers to get the cheese, unless you shake the plank or fix it using an anchor.
