Gray mouse holes are the standard mouseholes found on most maps. There can be 1 or 2 mouseholes per map. It does not matter which gray mousehole the mice enter but some holes may be easier to reach than others. Maps with gray mouseholes can have no [[shaman]], 1 shaman, or two shamans working together. Any shaman on the map will receive a number of points equal to the number of mice that entered a hole with cheese.

There will also always be two shaman, one pink and one blue. Shaman will receive a number of point equals to twice the number of mice entering their hole and no points for mice entering the other hole. As a result the shamans often fight each other for the mice's cheese.
